Thanks, New Yorker, for pointing out just one of the many absurd uses of the word “curate.”

Just throwing this out there to be that annoying person who actually drags up the dictionary definition of a word…

cu·ra·tor

 noun: one who has the care and superintendence of something; especially : one in charge of a museum, zoo, or other place of exhibit
THEREFORE, if you’re not in charge of “curating” some sort of exhibition, choose another word for your actions, such as “editor,” “aggregator,” “assembler,” “collector,” etc.
